Learning Together

While private lessons form the core of piano education, group learning experiences offer unique benefits that complement individual instruction. Our group classes provide opportunities for students to learn from peers, build performance confidence, and explore aspects of music that are best learned collaboratively.

Group Class Offerings

Theory Workshops

Intensive group sessions focused on music theory fundamentals. Students work through concepts together, reinforcing their understanding through collaborative exercises, games, and discussions. Theory workshops are particularly helpful for students preparing for examination theory requirements.

  • Level-appropriate content from basic to advanced
  • Interactive exercises and activities
  • Preparation for RCM, ABRSM, and AIM theory exams

Masterclasses

Performance-focused sessions where students perform for their peers and receive feedback from instructors. Masterclasses develop stage presence, performance confidence, and the ability to learn from observing others.

  • Performing in front of supportive peers
  • Receiving constructive feedback
  • Learning from watching others perform
  • Building performance stamina and confidence

Pre-Recital Workshops

Group sessions held before recitals to help students prepare for performance. Students practice performing, work on managing nerves, and support each other before the main event.

Ensemble & Duet Classes

Opportunities for students to make music together, developing listening skills, ensemble awareness, and the joy of collaborative music-making.
